The TEC course will engage the student-teacher in all aspects of the syllabus through a hands-on approach. Activities that are used to teach children, such as games, songs, crafts, and rhymes, will be modelled in class to provide a practical understanding. Class activities, discussions, projects and presentations will make learning authentic and interactive.
Both the TEC program and the TESL program have been developed by experts in the various teaching and child education fields. The program is designed to provide students with solid theoretical information, and expose them to an intensive and very enjoyable practical experience that will enable them to enter the wonderful world of educating children.
